We were appointed to design the building engineering services for the award winning residential property in St Brelade, Jersey.
The building offered many challenges for a suitable design solution as the south and west façade are fully glazed, giving panoramic views across the Atlantic. Our solution was to integrate high performance glazing with external shading from the continuous balcony, supplemented by underfloor cooling throughout. The solution as the cooling medium cannot be seen preserving the setting and character of the building.
