Pentonville Road with Derwent London
We have recently been appointed by Derwent London to undertake a scheme design of the new building services associated with the redevelopment of Aetna House
at 2-12 Pentonville Road and Whittle House at 14 Pentonville Road, London.
The buildings were constructed in the late 1980’s and have a floor area of approximately 25,500ft² (Aetna House) and 18,500ft² (Whittle House). The buildings, and associated services, are currently separate however part of the redevelopment plans include linking the upper floors together. The design of the new building services will take this into account whilst still having the flexibility to sub-divide each floor to suit multi-tenancy in the future. We are currently developing outline proposals with the design team, providing details of the proposed new building services required to complement the refurbishment of both buildings and make them more energy efficient. We are pleased to be working with Stiff and Trevillion Architects Ltd with AKT (Adams Kara Taylor) providing structural design, the project is due to start on site at the beginning of 2011 with a construction programme of 18 months.
